December 3, 2010 On November 28, StreamShed official launched the Stream Publisher Online Video Platform in Windows Azure. Meanwhile, all Swedish StreamShed customers got access to the service and one of them became one of the world's very first Azure customers in the area of online video.

Stream Sheds first Swedish customer in our new cloud service is Sandviken Municipality. Sandviken Municipality is already using JD600 Conference Producer to manage its council meetings and JD400 Media Encoder to broadcast and record all meetings directly on its website.

September 8, 2010 StreamShed launches a new version of our popular media player in Silverlight for audio and video. To meet our customers' requests to offer their audience the ability to embed broadcasts from events both live and on-demand in their web pages are now all the functionality embedded in the Silverlight object. August 30, 2010 StreamShed has signed a retailer agreement with BIS, a well-known player in the Benelux area. BIS, the largest in the area of presentation, information and communication rooms, advises, designs, realizes and maintains rooms, in which audiovisual & ICT total solutions are a central component. BIS specializes mainly in the realisation of dynamic as well as complex AV & ICT solutions, conference systems and digital signage solutions (narrowcasting), combined with a well thought-out programme of technical services.

April 22, 2010 StreamShed encoders for live and on-demand video now starts to be noticed by customers outside Enterprise and Public Sector. StreamShed delivers 10 encoders and special designed media players to the Citytunnel project in Malmö to assist the Emergency Service with monitoring network cameras and information system outside the tunnel system.

The Citytunnel is a railway through Malmö which began in 2005 and opened for traffic on 12 December 2010. The Citytunnel Project consists of three new railway stations and 17 kilometers of track in Malmö, both below and above ground. The purpose of the project is to provide a closer link between the city of Malmö and its suburbs.
